65% Children in B&B's, didn't Jimmy Savil hang out mostly in B&B's and his caravan ? Do we still have to say "Allegedly" ?

This government still insists on a fix address to access any support, so a rise in "temporary accommodation" will ironically save them money for these tax breaks to wealthy donors, which seem so important to them. Savil was a wealthy donor, so why did he live in a caravan (allegedly) ?

And if this lot gets in again its Austerity part 2

Seems the Tories are pondering scrapping the non-dom tax status for the wealthy (Rishis wife will be livid)

A big loss for Labour, Rochdale should be an unlosable seat for them and they'll struggle to win it back now anytime soon, meaning the GE later this year, which could possibly affect their ability to win an outright majority, probably depending on how many seats they can regain in Scotland, a country they once owned.

Starmer has frightened alot of proper left leaning socialists away by veering so heavily to the right (what he calls the centre ground). Expressing his admiration for Thatcher set the alarm bells ringing for many old labour voters and this loss is the result, with possibly more to follow in a domino effect. Oh dear Sir Kier. Titter.

If history is any lesson, Galloway will be a one term MP.
With the heat gone of Gaza by November, someone new installed & the turnout back up where it should be, I think Labour should re-gain.
We'll see.

lol. If they're similar, then Galloway and Lee Anderson are identical twins. They both dramatically changed their political alliances and colours simply to win a seat, any seat in any colour. Rochdale was a protest vote - a catatonic Cat could have won that. Galloway acts out of self interest and uses his Labour roots as a shroud to disguise this. Remember the Derek "Hatton house of Horror", Galloway could be making a sequel.

And as recent election year polls have shown us, they are meaningless, as the many participants have learned to conceal their true voting tendencies to skewer the opposition after becoming hot favourites. Brexit and Trump both benefited from this catastrophic failure of the polls and Hilary Clinton had to bin millions of printed thank you pamphlets. Not to mention the hordes of shocked remainers still wondering what went wrong.

I predict many people being sick to death of Saintly Starmer's monotonous and sanctimonious drivellings by the time it comes, realising they couldn't possibly endure another five years of it, and either abstain or jump ship to the Lib Dems. I also predict a lot of current RUK voters happily hopping over to the Tories on the day if it looks like they could force Labour into a coalition only govt. Voters have got a lot more crafty with all the online content on tactical voting and I expect it to cause another upset to some degree.
