I can relate to this. Yesterday I had a Labour bod on the doorstep, wanting to put me in the picture, but I told him he was wasting his time with me, as I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in politics, and he was gobsmacked when I told him I hadn't voted for anything in over 50 years - he looked at me like I was an alien from another planet. His brain could not comprehend or take in what I was saying. ?

It's not only repulsively sexist, in those sort of cartoons the man is always middle aged, the woman young, lovely and submissive. Utterly vile - and the sexual aspect is the least offensive thing in my eyes.
