Finished the box-set, not too soon as it had lost its way - it seem to go downhill once Cheryl Hall left the series and Peter Vaughan was no longer the father.

I agree , especially about Vaughan

2 series was plenty!

I do think some shows work better in your memory than in reality. Citizen Smith may be one of those shows. The Goodies is another.

Yes both of these unfortunately
But having said that I did enjoy re watching them a bit

Citizen Smith was as good as anything on telly at the time though as was the other
