Desperate Fishwives bring Doric comedy to small screen
It is most disappointing when Craig Pike, a founder member of the comedy troupe behind Desperate Fishwives, telephones. "Hello," he says politely, in a voice that could be coming from Bearsden. Where is my rolling Doric greeting? Would not "fit like, quine?" have been more appropriate?
