Which is the greatest take-away meal? What is the best beverage ever invented and which is the all-time cutest animal - the bush-baby, the seal cub or the marmoset?

From musicals to newsreaders, from supermodels to household pets, from artists to takeaways, this programme aims to take a witty, informative and passionate look at our favourite things, with Claudia Winkleman shining a unique light on the passions and peculiarities of her celebrity guests.

The aim is that each week, Claudia, her celebrity guests and a studio audience will deliberate and debate to find the definitive, the top, the crème de la crème - in short, the king of just about everything.

On air, Claudia will encourage viewers on Twitter to follow @C4Kingof and join in and continue discussing the topics by using the #kingof hashtag. @C4Kingof will then retweet the sharpest, silliest or most entertaining comments, based on the show's topics. At the end of the show just one ubër-funny tweeter will then be pronounced the King Of Tweets.

Guests will include Sarah Millican, Chris Evans, Lorraine Kelly, Jack Whitehall, Johnny Vegas, Ruby Wax and Billie Piper.

Our Review: We weren't entirely won over by King Of...; notably, it suffers from being a less-charming TV rip-off of Matt Lucas's Radio 2 panel show And The Winner Is... (which itself is moving to television soon). A numer of people also compared the series unfavourably to being the other side of Room 101 - again, not something we can argue with.

However, as the series progressed we did warm to Channel 4 and Claudia's particular interpretation of the format a little, more in its 'Uncut' 50-minute format than the standard half hour broadcast, and some of the guests provided very funny banter. But ultimately we still felt that King Of... faltered in comparison to other series that it is so similar to.
