Speaking of Python I recently got the Flying Circus box set. I wasn't sure as everyone says it's dated and slow and sexist these days, I think it stands up brilliantly.

Watching Monty Pythons Flying Circus for the 1st time is what made me want to write comedy.

I was lucky enough to catch it first time back in Oct 1969. It made me laugh with tears streaming down my face! Today-watching it on the DVD box set- obviously some of it isen't as rib tickling to me today-but bits of it still are-certainly! Brian Ismay and Brucy's 'Dance' still gets me!
