I had Woods at 12/1.
It was definitely good odds for the best Golfer in the world.
When has he ever had those odds? I was tempted myself.
Then I thought! No Steve, don't be silly, try to pick the winner.
I've never backed Woods before but 12/1 at his favourite course was too tempting. Rather like his ladies, though, I had him each way.
A guy I work with won a few hundred quid for betting a tenner on Trevor Immelman winning whatever major he won at the time.
I've placed a couple of scorecasts in the Champions League final. Messi / Barca 4-0 and Villa / Barca 4-0. I'm quietly confident.
