Most Annoying British Comedy Theme Tune

I'll start the ball rolling with...

That's My Boy Teary

Followed by...

Mind Your F**king Language, Johnny Foreigner!

Red Dwarf.

Red Dwarf.

Yeah, now you mention it. What the hell were they thinking?

Red Dwarf.

I liked the Red Dwarf (original version) theme tune when the programme first aired. It was a really nice, clever little song. But it does grate rather after all these years.

Agreed. Whereas I absolutely love it in Casablanca (where the song was not actually considered until fairly last minute!), whenever I hear a cover version it irritates me. Particularly the dreadful version they use on this show.

The Office.

Bread is also a contender, although some of the lyrics are catchy.

I don't remember this.

The Office.

:O It's a great tune!

Robin's Nest and George & Mildred (Series 2-5) both had rather dull theme tunes. Other terrible theme tunes included those of Family Ties, Moonlighting and Who's the Boss.

Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. Because it sticks in your head.

The Thick Of It or Spaced... I think shows should have themes. It helps define them.

I like the way The Thick Of It does it.
