John Dally lives alone in a scruffy little flat in Earls Court. He scrapes a living by doing bits of photography, bits of detective work ... bits of anything really. His world is about to change when John Chance, a would-be international jet-setting conman, rings his doorbell and uses his charm and deception to persuade Dally to let him share his flat.
