Series 2, Episode 1 - The Strength
Following an unsuccessful TV appearance, Alex is determined to prove that he's a credible musician and bandleader. Meanwhile, production extraordinaire Thora notices that acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Reggie Watts is touring the UK and books him as a guest on The Horne Section TV Show. And when Channel 4 exec Ash commissions a new programme, The World's Strongest Musician, Alex sees his chance to prove himself to the nation and enters the band to compete on his behalf. A shock twist in the final means that The Horne Section could be eliminated, but is there someone in their midst who can save the day?
