With grotesque characters, cartoon violence and Groundhog Day scenes of its young hero being gobbed on by the school bully, this adaptation of David Walliams's children's novel isn't subtle. David Walliams is making a TV version of his childrens' book Ratburger for Sky 1. He has also confirmed he will make a second series of his BBC One sketch show Walliams & Friend.
