Sitcom prequel to No - That's Me Over Here!.

Office worker Ronnie may have recently entered his 30s, but tied to his emotionally manipulative mother, he's still single and lives at home with her domineering wittering.

Desperate to make a life for himself, and to leave the small world of Bramley for a much more vibrant London life, he dreams of a new job - or at very least a promotion - to take him away from the town, put more money in his pocket, and place him in contact with a much wider array of women.

With the assistance of friend and colleague Keith, Ronnie slowly plucks up the courage to begin making changes in his life, first moving into a small flat and eventually engaging in a whirlwind romance with local librarian, Laura.
