ITV has ordered a second series of That Sunday Night Show.

Presented by Adrian Chiles, the late evening panel format sees the host joined by three guests each week to "boil down the biggest news stories, as well as flagging up some of the sillier goings on that might have passed just under the radar."

Next Sunday is the last episode in the current eight-part run. Guests that have appeared during the series have included Frank Skinner, Catherine Tate, Jenny Eclair, Greg Davies and Russell Kane. The show has also been notable for booking less-mainstream guests, such as the voice of the Post Office queueing system; and Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp.

ITV has been prompted to order another run from production company Avalon Television after That Sunday Night Show averaged over 3 million viewers an episode, and held onto its audience share - a sign viewers like the show.

The network has yet to finalise the number of episodes for the series or confirm when it is likely to air.

Elaine Bedell, ITV's director of entertainment and comedy, says: "That Sunday Night Show has established itself very quickly as a popular part of the ITV weekend entertainment line-up. It's a very watchable, and very funny, reflection on the week, with an often eclectic guest list."
