Comedians and friends Joe Wilkinson and Katherine Ryan enjoy a low-cost city break to the affordable Latvian capital city, Riga. They explore the city on a retro tram, get lost in a museum of illusions and enjoy a bargainous trip to the Latvian National Opera. On an excursion outside the capital to the forests of Sigulda, Joe and Katherine take a chairlift ride and Joe tries to become a winter Olympian in a hair-raising bobsleigh ride. Following a final meal at a Latvian eatery, Katherine gives Joe a present that really blows him away.
