The return of The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show will see the series move to BBC One, it has been announced.

Production company Avalon revealed news of the format's promotion today, also confirming that the six-part second series will begin airing in May.

Mixing celebrity chat with comic entertainment segments, the series is hosted by stand-up comedian Chris Ramsey and his wife, Rosie Ramsey, and follows the huge success of their marriage and parenting podcast Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed., which has sold out arena venues on a live tour.

Series 1 ran for six weeks through May and June 2022 on BBC Two, with the corporation reporting a cumulative total of 6.7 million views across broadcast and on-demand.

Tickets for studio recordings of Series 2 will be made available in the coming weeks.
