Eddie Izzard, the self-proclaimed 'executive transvestite' and comedian, takes his magnificent stand-up act to America for this performance recorded in New York, 26 June 2000. Izzard is a thinking man's comedian -his subjects can range from the nature of God, to the search for a career, to Scooby Doo in the span of about a minute. A wonderfully gifted verbal and physical comedian, Izzard's one-man shows are probably the funniest stand-up acts of the past decade.
