Each week a team of professionals challenge the journalists who report on them. Who knows the most about their own specialised subject; and do our musicians, actors, sports stars and socialites have what it takes to stop the press?

Host Grant Stott is joined by two regular team captains: top comedian Jo Caulfield leads the team of professionals who strive daily to fulfil their artistic ambitions, play to the best of their physical ability, and have to face the reviews and comments in the papers the next day.

Leading the Press team, it's BBC Radio Scotland's Gary Robertson. Anchor of the daily Good Morning Scotland programme, Gary is used to early mornings, hard deadlines and an ever-moving newsphere. He and his fellow journalists are going to be hard to beat.

Grant Stott says: "I've been keen to do a panel show for ages and this show is perfect. An exciting new format with two captains who both have a real desire to win will make for a great fun listen every week."

Jo Caulfield says: "Listeners can play along at home and prove they are much smarter than me. The show also has an amazing line up of guests, people I've always wanted to meet. So apart from the maybe making a fool of myself part, I can't wait. Bring it on."

Gary Robertson adds: "I'm really looking forward to having some fun on Stop The Press. That said, I'm a little nervous too; as the person who usually asks the questions on the radio it'll be quite a change being put under pressure to answer them."
