Series 2 (More Mr Mulliner), Episode 4 - The Truth About George

Mr Mulliner's final tale to the regulars at the Angler's Rest public house is about his nephew, George. Although a whiz at crosswords, poor George is afflicted with a stutter that prevents him from declaring his love for Susan. He is advised to talk to strangers as a cure his speech impediment. The result: he is taken for a lunatic and pursued across the English countryside.
