Living With Mother is a series of stand-alone comedies about mothers and sons living together.

The first series consisted of four shows. In the first episode, "Spilt Milk" stars Alison Steadman and Alexander Kirk in which a desperate mother tries her best to find a woman for her 41-year-old son. In the second, "Home Time", Timothy Spall stars as a son who thinks it is time to put his mother (Anne Reid) in a home. In the third, "Wild Card", Kevin Eldon plays poker-loving drunk who loses the family jewels and hopes his mother (Penelope Keith) will bail him out. In the fourth, "Curtains at the Window", a penny-pinching son (David Ryall) gets into conflict with his mother (Stephanie Cole) who wants to meet an old friend.

The second series begins in October 2012. The first story, "Star Turn" sees terrible singer Marlon (Mark Gatiss) trying to get his mother Helen Susan Jameson) to help him star on Britain's Got Talent; "Told You I Was Ill" covers hypochondriac mother Lisa (Linda Robson) who can't accept her son Luke (Daniel Mays is growing up; "Sandy Belle" sees Tilly and Pip (Alison Steadman and Tom Goodman-Hill) living in their beach chalet over the winter; and "Four Little Words" Alison (Brigit Forsyth) tries to get her bone-idle son Owen (Greg Hemphill) to lose weight.
