Series 1, Episode 1

Anne returns to Laverloch Findo and resumes life as Marjory - then she meets local radio DJ Petey, and even though she believes she's being hunted by an assassin, suddenly things start to look up.

Further details

Even the Laverloch Findo bus ride into town makes the Thames seem inviting. On arrival, Marjory's mother is as undermining and manipulative as ever and Marjory (she'd been "Anne" in London) discovers that she has to live up to the imaginary life - and husband and children - her mother invented in her absence for the benefit of friends and neighbours.

Then she runs into Petey the local radio DJ, and even though she believes she's being hunted by an assassin, suddenly things start to look up.
