The smog is London gets heavier and heavier and Daunt and Dervish bump into a charming American who helps himself to a purse. Daunt and Dervish are surprised when Mackie recognises the description of their charming American thief. Mackie's landlady gives birth and he gets less and less sleep - but Daunt has a spare room - will this help love blossom?
