A free webinar, on Tuesday 14 January at 7pm, in which Dave Cohen, Dan Sweryt and Ellie Hayward talk about how to obtain writing credits on BBC comedy shows.
To promote their online course, Dave Cohen, Dan Sweryt and Ellie Hayward are running a free webinar on the topic of how to obtain your first professional comedy writing credit.
They explain: "Since 2021 we've helped 30 comedy writers achieve their first professional BBC comedy credit, writing for one or both of the brilliant BBC topical comedy shows Breaking The News and The Skewer. A new course begins next month.
"Join us on Tuesday 14th January at 7pm GMT - along with some of those 30 writers - to find out how you can add your name to that list. And, more important, how you can keep picking them up. This year, those 30 racked up more than 100 credits between them."
Dave Cohen has spent decades writing for tons of topical shows including Have I Got News For You, The News Quiz, Spitting Image, Dead Ringers and loads more. Dan Sweryt is a regular contributor to BTN and The Skewer and plenty more. Eleanor Hayward took this course in 2021 and now she helps new writers through the process.
