Sebastian Thiel has just finished directing the TV sitcom pilot Dreaming Whilst Black. We caught up with him to find out how he has built up his career. He has some great tips around focusing on yourself.

I dream up ideas and find ways to create things I'm passionate about.
By title, I'm a director, writer, producer at Upshot Entertainment.
I work a lot with Big Talk Productions, specifically Saurabh Kakkar and Lara Singer, who produced my first BBC Three comedy, Just A Couple.
