Joe Evans joins as 'Creative Director - Development', leading development for BBC Studios Entertainment & Music, working closely with Eddie Evelyn-Hall, who joins as Head of Development. Together they will work with the existing creative team to devise new entertainment programmes and formats for UK and international broadcasters and digital platforms.
Evans has 18 years' experience in non-scripted entertainment, reality and comedy entertainment formats. He was previously Director of Development at Tiger Aspect, where he ran the development team that won commissions including Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father for Netflix.
Evelyn-Hall joins BBC Studios from Monkey Kingdom, where he was Head of Development, running the team and creating entertainment and factual entertainment formats for UK and US channels. He was previously Development Executive at Whizz Kid and held Senior Development Producer and Talent Producer roles at Syco Entertainment.
