Good writing

Good writing comes in many different forms. In the world of television scripts, a broad and colourful in-your-face sitcom can be "good writing", as can a very quite, low-key character study.

It's not about the specific characters or world of your script - but how those characters and that world are explored.

The material can be fast-paced or slow: but the pace must be the result of a deliberate creative choice, rather than just a mish-mash of thoughts thrown at the page.

Good writing tends to mean well-written in a conventional sense too: scripts that are properly laid out, grammar...
