BBC blasted for its male-dominated Christmas

The BBC has become embroiled in a sexism row after it was revealed than none of its Christmas comedy shows were created by women.

Prince Charles may fancy a break with the Duchess of Cornwall for his 70th birthday, but instead he has been gifted a night of comedy and magic to raise money for the Prince's Trust. Armstrong and Miller host proceedings, with the magicians Penn & Teller and Dynamo on the bill. Rowan Atkinson, Sandi Toksvig, Cheryl Tweedy and Kylie also appear.

It's pretty much a Bake Off special this week as Ross quizzes judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith and presenter Noel Fielding about the current series of the cookery show. OK, so there's no Sandi Toksvig, but comedy awaits courtesy of Mo Gilligan and music is supplied by Olly Murs.
