Lewis Macleod: Badly Dubbed Porn risked Postman Pat job

Lewis Macleod is the man behind TV's Postman Pat. Back in 2008, after he was asked to become the famous postie, the BBC were shocked to discover Lewis had been involved in a series called Badly Dubbed Porn. However, the programme was a Paramount comedy show.

You'll recognise the name of Bill Dare as creator/producer of such programmes as Dead Ringers, The Now Show and I've Never Seen Star Wars. Here's a new series of a more recent invention, intertwining fantasy with the familiar. Lionel Blair, for instance, is mistaken for Tony Blair and has to go to the Middle East to get the leaders "dancing to the same tune", Al Pacino stalks John Humphrys. William Hague talks to the Ambassador of Kyrkistan having been mistakenly briefed on Uzbekistan. Jon Culshaw and Lewis MacLeod are among the skilled vocal parodists.

Season 02 - Ep04 - The Radio One

Welcome to Episode Four ... incredibly we've managed something new for four weeks on the run now.

This week (week! Not fortnight, or "18 month period") Rob and Nick have been talking about their various jobs in the world of radio.

There's a surprise phonecall (well, it was to us) from actor Lewis Macleod who provided many of the voices for Nick's Radio 4 show Bigipedia.

AND as if that wasn't enough, there's some previously unheard footage of Bigipedia. Our longest episode yet, probably.
