British Comedy Guide, 8th December 2016Hapless grime collective Dropperz aren't exactly at the top of their game as they struggle to get it together this one-off comedy mockumentary pilot. It's their last chance to film their video and find the fame they deserve, but with a dead rabbit and a guilty dog on their hands, it looks like they're about to be dropped from their record label. Promising fun with a talented and witty cast including Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Guz Khan, Letitia Hector and Alexis Caley.

British Comedy Guide, 29th September 2016Comedy Feeds: Man Like Mobeen review
Man Like Mobeen starts imposingly, with Guz Khan's alter-ego delivering a direct-to-camera missive about the 'neo-conservatives' illegal war' on brown people as a voiceover reiterates the views of Fox News terrorism 'expert' Steven Emerson that Birmingham was a 'no-go' city for non-Muslims, patrolled by religious police. But it quickly becomes clear this is a silly mockery not only of the rhetoric of cultures at loggerheads, but also of the Muslim rude-boy culture.

British Comedy Guide, 25th August 2016Channel 5 show Borderline filmed at Coventry Airport
Borderline was filmed at Coventry Airport and features city-teacher-turned-comedian Guz Khan.
Coventry Telegraph, 2nd August 2016This one seems like a sketchification of a stand-up routine as the comic mulls what a Muslim Father Christmas would be like or deconstructs the easy-to-mock lyrics of 12 Days Of Christmas. The setting is a shisha cafe which his younger brother and co-owner, played by Guz Khan (aka Guzzy Bear) is trying to make more Christmassy. There's probably more that could be done with the idea, as it seems they only scratch the surface here.
