Claire is a Senior Edit Producer and Edit Director in non-scripted broadcast television, who has written over 120 hours of voice over for all major channels in the UK (BBC One, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5, More4, MTV, Nat Geo), plus Netflix, Amazon and a couple in the US. She has scripted voice over for property programmes, dog grooming competitions and travelogues, documentaries, mockumentaries, even a "cockumentary", plus a spot of grime porn thrown in for good measure.
Her strengths lie in writing with a smidge of wit, a pinch of cheek and a soupçon of personality. Her specialities include puns, surrealism and breaking the fourth wall. She has set the tone in commentary for many a series, not to mention doctoring and polishing other scripts.
Career highlights include: scripting an observational documentary series about the Best Western hotel chain voiced by Diane Morgan, becoming the acceptable voice of presenter James May for his most recent travel series' for Amazon, and a feature documentary for ITV about a Mormon and a Vegan who invented a herbal alternative to viagra, coming soon to ITVX.
Claire is a self-confessed pun-lovin' criminal (Placed #1 and #10 in the 2023 UK Gold Christmas cracker joke-writing competition) who also dabbles in jingle-writing and parody songs.
