EdFringe has "gotten more expensive over the last few years for sure, this year is out of control and it needs to change otherwise I don't know how much longer I'll be able to afford it."

The worst experience you have ever had in a hotel?

My favourite comedian by Archie Maddocks

I can remember being 10 years old, sitting in my front room, with my mixed family around me. I remember sitting in awe as they all collapsed into laughter. Richard Pryor danced about the screen, doing an impression of a deer trying to drink from a lake while being nervous. I couldn't believe that this one man, on a stage alone, was making not only a room full of people laugh, but my family, who never all sat down and so vehemently agreed on the same thing. It was absolutely incredible.

The most impressive thing you have ever been underneath

For this year's Edinburgh Fringe, we've teamed up with Richard Herring (you probably know him best as Journalist from The Battersea Ripper) to offer a peculiar twist on the traditional festival questionnaire - with all the queries taken from his book of Emergency Questions, as originally used on his Leicester Square Theatre Podcast, RHLSTP. Starting with this one: What is the most impressive thing you have ever been underneath?

I talk to Archie Maddocks

"My first show was about being mixed-race, but if I had the chance to do that show now, it would be such a different show."
