Amber's warm and witty stand-up combines her unique observational musings with tales about life in her beloved Essex. She was selected as a finalist in the British Comedy Guide Performance Awards 2021.

​Amber also writes, produces and hosts her own sketch comedy podcast, The Amber Phillips Comedy Sketchbook. Featuring an eclectic assortment of sketches and one-liners, the show began as a lockdown project and has taken on a life of its own. The podcast appears regularly on BBC Essex radio, and it has gained a loyal online following.

A passionate writer, Amber' s comedy influences include Gavin and Stacey, Monty Python and The Two Ronnies. Amber has written for a number of podcasts and radio shows, including Newsjack on BBC Radio 4 Extra.
