The nominees for Best Comedy Podcast in the British Podcast Awards 2023 have been revealed.
The shortlisted shows are:
Bang On It, hosted by Michelle De Swarte and Laura Smyth
Elis James and John Robins, the eponymous comics' Radio 5 series
From The Oasthouse: The Alan Partridge Podcast Series 2
Sports Horn, with Anthony Richardson and Mark Davison
Radio 4 sketch series The Skewer
Titting About Series 3, from Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders
Sponsored by podcast industry publication podpod, a range of other categories include climate, business, news & current affairs, and fiction.
Other comedy-related nominations are as follows.
Entertainment: Elis James and John Robins, RHLSTP with Richard Herring, Three Little Words (John Bishop and Tony Pitts) and Titting About Series 3, British Scandal (Matt Forde and Alice Levine).
Sport: Sports Horn and Snookered (Des Clarke and Amy Matthews).
History: British Scandal.
Best Interview: RHLSTP with Richard Herring
Best Sex and Relationships Podcast: The Divorce Social (Samantha Baines), The Breakup Monologues (Rosie Wilby) and Brown Girls Do It Too (Poppy Jay and Rubina Pabani).
The Spotlight Award: Off Menu (Ed Gamble and James Acaster) and Where There's a Will, There's a Wake (Kathy Burke).
The Listener's Choice category is open to a public vote through the awards' website, closing on Tuesday 5th September.
Winners will be announced on Thursday 28th September.
