Eric Rushton's stand-up special Not That Deep is now available to watch for free via YouTube.

It is the debut filmed special from the stand-up, who triumphed in the Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year 2020 contest and has since gone on to win Channel 4's inaugural Sean Lock Comedy Award.

The blurb explains: "Not That Deep sees the Midlander share his deadpan take on daily life, twisting the seemingly mundane into surreal flights of fancy and wrestling with his endless self-doubts. From sharing his experience of being one of eight kids, to indoctrinating himself with his partner's family, and making surprising parallels between comedians and porn stars. In a chaotic turn of events however, the scripted special goes unexpectedly awry when Eric is faced with his toughest heckler yet: his own brother. Striking an expert balance of quick-witted crowd-work and razor-sharp material (with a healthy dose of family trauma), Not That Deep is unlike any special that you've ever seen before."

Rushton says: "This is my first ever comedy special. It was made by a bunch of my friends and filmed at my favourite comedy club, The Glee in Birmingham. It was directed, edited and worked on tirelessly by my close(st?) friend Arnold T Rice who's been there since early. Honestly for his sake, give it a watch please and send it to key kingpins and queenpins of showbusiness. This is one of the most FREE specials out there, but it cost bare money to make so if you would be kind enough to donate then that would mean the world."
