The Full Monty live stage show set to tour from September

In 1997, a British film about six out-of-work Sheffield steelworkers with nothing to lose took the world by storm, becoming one of the most successful British comedy movies ever made. That film was The Full Monty. Now the boys are back again, and they really have to go The Full Monty... live on stage.
Created by Simon Beaufoy, the Oscar winning writer of the film, the original live production of The Full Monty won the UK Theatre Award for Best Touring Production. The show is now back again, with the new run set to open at the Manchester Opera House on Monday 15 September (previews from Thursday 11th September) before embarking on an extensive UK tour.
Gary Lucy (Danny in EastEnders) will play Gaz (pictured); with Andrew Dunn (Tony in dinnerladies) portraying Gerald; and Louis Emerick (PC Walsh in Last Of The Summer Wine) taking on the role of Horse. Also appearing are Martin Miller as Dave; Bobby Schofield as Lomper; and Rupert Hill as Guy.
This new production - which features the iconic songs from the film, including the tracks by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones - is directed by the award-winning Roger Haines, who has previously worked on the likes of the national tour of Calendar Girls.
