Following a run at the Edinburgh Festival, Desiree Burch will take her new stand-up show The Golden Wrath on tour from October 2025 to March 2026.

The show's blurb explains: "Authentic, curious, and gleefully irascible, storyteller and comedian Desiree Burch leads a madcap voyage through the Middle Ages - AKA the mid-life crisis, and its mandatory metamorphosis - in her new stand-up hour. Desiree brings both childlike wonder and crone-like wit to the experiences of losing sleep, relevance, knee cartilage, oestrogen, youth, and illusions in a laugh-packed hour that celebrates the fury and freedom found when you've accepted that time has ruined your plans, but roll up your sleeves to fight it anyway."

Her promoters say: "Six years after her acclaimed show Desiree's Coming Early and standout appearances on hit UK comedy shows like Taskmaster and Live At The Apollo, Desiree Burch returns with The Golden Wrath - a bold new show that showcases her signature blend of fearless storytelling and magnetic charisma. The show premiered at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and received rave reviews, including a five-star rating from the Sydney Morning Herald."

Burch comments: "There comes a day when you look around and wonder 'is the world a raging bin fire, or is it perimenopause?' The answer, my friend, is 'yes'."
