  • New dates have been announced for the Good Mourning Mrs. Brown live tour
  • The cast will perform additional dates in London, Manchester and Birmingham due to high demand
  • Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster

The Mrs Brown's Boys 2017 arena tour has been extended due to "phenomenal demand".

Promoters have announced three additional dates of the live stage show, Good Mourning Mrs. Brown:

Birmingham: Wednesday 5th April 2017 - Genting Arena
Manchester: Wednesday 12th April 2017 - Manchester Arena
London: Wednesday 5th July 2017 - The O2 Arena

Tickets for the three new dates went on sale at 9am today, and are likely to prove very popular. Most Mrs Brown's Boys live shows sell out quickly.

Good Mourning Mrs. Brown is one of the series of live shows written by and starring Brendan O'Carroll, which inspired the hit BBC One sitcom. A previous production of the show was the franchise's first live DVD and Blu-ray release, but this is the first time it has been staged as a full UK arena tour.

Organisers say: "In this hilarious show, for which Brendan has received some of the best reviews of his career, we see Agnes Brown planning Granddad's funeral. The only problem is granddad is not dead. What could go wrong?"

The three new shows are in addition to 54 already announced dates for the tour in the UK alone, which will run from March to July, and again in November and December 2017. Saturday night shows have already completely sold out in Glasgow, Cardiff and London, but tickets for all other dates are available to buy now from Ticketmaster.

Mrs Brown's Boys is due to return to BBC One this Christmas for two specials. Details about the episodes are due to be revealed next week.
