Twelfth Night
What if we were to see Viola not as a woman cross-dressing as a man, but as a trans character exploring a different expression of gendered identity? In this version of Shakespeare's comedy Twelfth Night, the performance examines the relationships between gender and status, how we adapt ourselves to fit into society and how by restraining our inner truth we can restrict the colour of our lives.
