Netflix star and social media sensation, John Franklin, takes to the stage with his latest one hour comedy special, My Dad's Advice.
Just four years into his comedy career, Franklin is embarking on his second hour long show. Growing up in the comedy scene in New York City, set-up and punchline one-liners are king. So, to spread his wings and try a storytelling style, John decided to pack his bags and take the show to Fringe. The hour, which Franklin has written and produced on his own, is based around the stories and advice of his dad's life that ultimately (and somehow impossibly) become a part of the stories of John's life.
Through wonderful storytelling, which Franklin says he learned from his father, John brings a new look on the not so amazing advice a parent can have. Franklin's first comedy special, The Specialist, debuts this year on the streaming service Tubi.
