Hobnobs and Fruitcake
Alex loves church because it has Hobnobs and singing, and she's not allowed either at home because one, she's tone-deaf, and two, she's diabetic. When fruitcake appears in church, Alex hatches a cunning and elaborate plan to get it, recruiting an international star of stage and screen to perform an ''edgy, modern'' play, and forcing Tom, the gammon-faced treasurer, to swear in front of his beloved Teresa May. This riotous comedy is from the team behind Being Frank, Trans Pennine and From Today Everything Changes.
