Flossy and Boo have run away from the circus to set up their very own travelling Curiosity Shop, traversing the globe and collecting stories, songs and trinkets for their little cart. See their amazing (and rather unbelievable) tales! Hear the extraordinarily well-crafted and never-at-all-silly songs! Behold the extraordinary characters they have met along the way! With live original music, physical theatre and comedy, Flossy and Boo's Curiosity Shop is an interactive theatre show. There is something for everyone in Flossy and Boo's rather peculiar world! Roll up, roll up! Step inside!

The Edinburgh festival in 24 hours

How many Edinburgh shows can you watch back to back? With no sleep and a lot of running between theatres, one festival first-timer takes in everything from the Game of Thrones musical to an unexpectedly violent meditation class.

5 shows to keep the kids quiet at the Fringe

Kids eh? Can't leave 'em in the car, can't take 'em to see Burt Lancaster Pierced My Hymen (When I Was 11). If you're carting the nippers up to Edinburgh this year, fear not. There's a growing market for kids' shows, and the Fringe has all sorts of things on offer to keep them entertained. Whether that means giant bubbles, storytelling or something that will tickle the grown ups as much as the little ones, here are our top picks for family-friendly fun.

When Flossy and Boo were found in a suitcase in Paris by the Great Stupendo, they were immediately adopted into the Cirque du Stupendo! (You have heard of it right?). Now they are all grown up and looking for their own adventures, so they have set up a Curiosity Shop to take around the world on the hunt for unusual objects, and finding astonishing stories wherever they go.

You can hear all about their adventures in the Arctic, trying to catch a Cold with only a single net. Or meet Jeffrey the disheartened Jellyfish, who just does not want to give up his precious Pearl. Let the Fantabulous Duo take you through their awe-inspiring Circus tricks, including the terrifying Masking Tape Line of Death (blame Health and Safety...)!

Flossy and Boo combine songs, stories and skillful switching between a whole range of colourful characters using only the props on their Curious little cart. These two girls will take you on a whirlwind adventure of comedy, physical theatre and musical merriment.

Flossy and Boo's Curiosity Shop is created and performed by Anja Conti and Laura Jeffs. Premiered at the Wales Millennium Centre's Blysh Festival 2014, the show has now grown so much they can hardly contain it!

Having gained an international agent, the girls are now touring Flossy and Boo all the way from Cardiff to Holland - with some vital stop offs along the way, including Glastonbury, London and of course the Edinburgh Fringe. A completely devised piece, this is a show that will spin you around, blow bubbles at you and leave you with song that will be with you all day (darn bearded lady!).
