Lincolnshire based theatre company Hambledon Productions is performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the first time with their brand new production Just Like That! The Tommy Cooper Show, following a 12-venue tour across Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.

The company, which is co-run by brother-and-sister team John and Rachael Hewer, was founded in 2007. Recent successes include new-writing comedies STOP!... You're Killing Me and An Apple A Day as well as classics Educating Rita and Hancock's Half Hour.

John is delighted to be given the opportunity by The Tommy Cooper Estate and Tommy's daughter Vicky to write and star in this tribute to all things TC. John says, "Tommy Cooper was a true comic genius. His impeccable timing, memorable routines, love of slapstick and groan-worthy gags made him an international name. To commemorate 30 years since his passing, this special tribute to Tommy Cooper is a compilation of rarely seen material from his cabaret days and the very best of Cooper's classic gags and tricks."
