2014 Edinburgh Fringe

Welcome to our 2014 Edinburgh Fringe coverage

Edinburgh Fringe Site 2014

Welcome to our coverage of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2014.

Running from the 1st to 25th August 2014, the largest arts festival in the world is also the most exciting home of live comedy. From bold alternative shows to the best up-and-coming mainstream acts; stand-up, sketch and improvisation to comic theatre: the Fringe has it all. Sides will be split laughing.

This year there are more comedy shows than ever. We've counted up more than 1,500 different titles. That means there are more laughs than ever before, but also it makes it harder to pick what to see - there are only 24 hours in a day after all. This is where we hope to help out.

For this - our fifth year covering the Fringe - we are aiming to provide more coverage than ever before. Across July we'll be pointing you towards shows that look interesting and interviewing the performers that are putting these shows on. During the festival itself we'll be pointing you to the word-of-mouth hits and bringing you all the latest news and views from Edinburgh.

BCG Fringe site on a mobile phone

We've become well known for handily collecting up all the reviews in the one place. This August we'll again be scouring in excess of 70 publications daily in order to record every star rating that's issued. You'll be able to find a show's reviews neatly summarised on its individual listings page.

Those who have used our Fringe listings in previous years will note our festival mini-site has an exciting new design this year. We've slaved away across many late nights to try and make the website as user-friendly as possible - everything has been custom built to best suit the Edinburgh Fringe ecosystem.

Mobile phone users should find this new design particularly handy, as we've designed it to display nicely on your handset too.

In summary - with more listings than even the official site, extra details about hundreds of shows, our mobile-friendly design, review aggregation system, and curated features - we hope you'll pick us as your first destination for everything Fringe-comedy-related this year.

Now why not browse the listings to see what takes your fancy? Listings
