User reviews

Last year I was fortunate enough to attend an early incarnation of this play, in a Cardiff coffee shop.
Since then, if has been re-written and with a change in the cast it was staged at the more impressive Chapter Arts Centre prior to its current appearance at the Edinburgh festival. George Infini's play revolves around three men adrift in the ocean following an unsuccessful mutiny attempt. Like all the best stories, the plot is simple, as is the set. The questions left to be answered are who are these men and will they survive?
It is to the credit of the writer and the actors that during this entertaining hour we laugh at the predicament at this unlikely trio but ultimately we do care about them. This is a comedy but there are moments of pathos and there is an ending which caused endless debates after the show.
Having returned from the Edinburgh festival having seen 31 shows in a week I can honestly state that (although I know the writer) this is well worth searching out for amongst the 1000's of shows in Scotland's capital. You won't be disappointed and it is in the FREE Fringe. You can't lose.
It is playing at the George Next Door, Edinburgh 9 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1EE 19.20 - 20.20pm until Saturday 23rd August
