'Excellent humour' **** (BroadwayBaby.com). NYC comedian Veronica Elizabeth tours Gay Straight Alliance at a variety of colleges and comedy clubs across the USA. Hailing from NYC's historic Stonewall Inn, it features gay and straight stand-up comedians who aim to break down barriers and prove, once and for all, that gays and straights are equally awful. Veronica uses her unique brand of humour to lampoon everything from online dating to international travel. Reloaded with edgy new material, Gay Straight Alliance sees gay female host and producer Veronica Elizabeth together with a rotating cast of LGBT and straight comics find the funny in sex, dating and everything in between. The super-talented comedians appearing this year includes funny lady Rosie Wilby, American in London David Mills and gifted funny guy Adam Strauss.
Fed up with the predominantly straight, white, male-perspective comedic offerings, Veronica Elizabeth conceived the Gay Straight Alliance Comedy Show format - a unique sexuality mash-up which always features a quartet or trio of LGBT comedians on the same stage.
