Simply the Jest is a student comedy troupe from Exeter University. With sell out shows across Exeter behind us, the 9 of us are heading to the big lights of the Edinbrgh Fringe Festival with a diverse range of sketches, jokes and parodies for your entertainment. We hope you will come and see us perform, unless of course you are offended by the following: Maggie Smith, misplaced nipples, paedophiles, Yorkshire's only all-male Destiny's Child tribute band, a penguin called David Cameron, violated gnomes, a Welsh Lady Sovereign wannabe, child rape and the baby Jesus. Simply the Jest are made up of nine of the best student talents in the country including Jack Stanley (Little Britain, A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) and Ella Ainsworth (School of Comedy) and between them have produced a diverse show consisting of a huge variety of sketches, songs and parodies.
