The Crucible meets Father Ted in this historical comedy. It's 1589 and the dark walls of King James VI's Edinburgh are rife with gossip and uncertainty. The McCreddie family are in hiding, fleeing persecution in a town riddled with lies, fear... and fake beards. Based on actual events during the 16th century and set against the backdrop of the North Berwick witch-hunt, come join the McCreddies as they struggle to keep their heads in a society fuelled by panic, firewood and of course, plenty of whisky. Scottish history never looked so damned hot!

Anyone For A Witch Hunt? is a new comedy by budding playwright Adriana Polito. The cast is made up of eight actors from an amateur dramatics group in Glasgow. They are 'The Antonine Group' from The Fort Theatre in Bishopbriggs and it's the first time that any of them have performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Their ages range from 21 years to an O.A.P with more energy than the rest of the group put together! The cast are excited about bringing the show to Edinburgh where the story itself unfolds. They are looking forward to performing for a Fringe audience.
