New Sketch.

What do you think? Seemed a bit familiar when I read it back!

Let Off- Sketch

INT. COURTROOM. DAY

A JUDGE is addressing the FOREMAN of the jury. The ACCUSED, a young girl of about twenty, stands in the dock.

JUDGE
Have reached a verdict upon which you are all agreed?

FOREMAN
Yes

JUDGE
Do you find the Defendant guilty or not guilty?

FOREMAN
Guilty!

JUDGE to ACCUSED
Sally Jane Oesophagus, you have been found guilty on three counts Murder, one of aggravated assault (sarcastically) and several of being generally annoying. Do you have anything to say before I pass sentence?

ACCUSED
I’m not talking to you.

JUDGE
Right. I sentence you to go and tidy your room and make sure you use the Hoover properly this time and take those plates downstairs.

Well? What do you have to say for yourself?

ACCUSED
Sorry dad

JUDGE
And make an effort to get a job.

ACCUSED
(Mumbles) Alright alright.

Hi WJFK

It's alright. Mildly humourous but can't help but feel 'seen it before somewhere'. Needs more of a twist in there somewhere, I think.

Dan

Is he taking himself seriously or just "goofing" about?

It's missing something, but I don't know what, sorry.

Thanks Dan and Leevil. I think I know what I'm gonna do with this one. Maybe I was a bit too quick to post.
