*sighs* Sometimes I just don't know how I go on...

Teary Cheer up Scats. Here's a joke my 5 year old niece made up.

Why did the elepant go to the hospital?

'Cause he was dead.

;) Not sure she gets the concept of jokes, but it made me laugh. :)

Laughing out loud Aw!

:)

That did cheer me up!

Coolio. :) Can't av our Scats down in the dumps now, can we? No, no we can't.

Also, the Good Morning Vietnam soundtrack has some great tunes on it.

The Vietnam war was great for some decent films and good soundtracks!

Trainspotting has an ace soundtrack.

As does anything by Quentin Tarantino (Reservoir Dogs especially).

And of course Quadrophenia.

All good choices but the Jackie Brown soundtrack is particularly fine.

Darn tootin'

Say what you like about Tarantino but the man can pick a soundtrack. I even like the one to From Dusk Til Dawn.

One of my favourite scenes in a movie ever, Mr Blonde doing a jig to 'Stuck In The Middle With You' and then slicing off a copper's ear. Masterpiece:

And The Walk to Little Green Bag:

And some great dancing from Uma Thurman and John Travolta in Pulp Fiction to a great tune:

Tarantino knows how to score a film.

I LOOOOOVE the soundtrack to Conan the Barbarian. I can't get enough. I don't know to many other albums I've listened to more.

More recently I thought the Borne movie soundtracks were pretty good.

As you know I love music. But am I the only one for whom a music soundtrack just goes completely over my head?

I'm talking about atmosphere music - not added songs.

I'm not sure what you really mean?

I don't often notice a film's soundtrack unless it has some really good songs in it - or the songs are an integral part to a scene (like in Reservoir Dogs, and Garden State, that film's got a great soundtrack too).
