Dead Man (Johnny Depp)- Neil Young

I liked that film. I don't remember the music though.

FLASHDANCE!

I'd be a complete girl if I agreed with this wouldn't I? Whistling nnocently

Do love the Hot Fuzz soundtrack... but then a huge kinks fan.

Jackie Brown is the only film where I've gone straight from the cinema to HMV to buy the soundtrack.

I think I liked that more than the film. :) (Although the film is ace too.)

Has there been a thread for this? If not, how about finding your fave movie music on youtube and posting it here for our aural pleasure. I like a bit of aural pleasure on a Friday.

I'll kick off with this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Vnq_v4vSjEg

It's cheesey but I DEFY you not to get the chills

Try playing this when doing mundane things. The washing up, picking your nose, counting small change,

it makes it all heroic.

I dare you not to grab that horse that's standing outside your door and ride like hell and shoot some baddies.

And of course this one. Bit obvious but brilliant nevertheless.

I could go on but I wont you'll be glad to know.

Christie O'Malory's Own Double Entry. I think that's the name of it. Luke Haines did it. Great misanthropic stuff.

The Blues Brothes.
The Lost Boys
The Commitments.

Agree

Also, the Good Morning Vietnam soundtrack has some great tunes on it.

Oh, and Head by The Monkees.

Is this just for soundtracks that use already-existing songs? I prefer proper soundtracks, that are recorded especially for films. I collect them, on vinyl. I recently acquired the funky-ass soundtrack to the Burt Reynolds film, 'GATOR', from the '70s.

Deliverance? Duelling Banjos etc. Sticking to the Reynolds theme.

I quite enjoyed the O Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack too.

I love the "O Brother Where Art Thou?" soundtrack!

Is that coz you're 'a woman of constant sorrow'? Teary
