Just started watching this BBC3 comedy, written by and starring Mawaan Rizwan. Three episodes in, and I'm bowled over. Original, wildly inventive and very funny. Watch it!

Trailer doesn't exactly sell it....
Tovey was boring and cliched in American Horror Story.
And Rizwan traffics in similarly cliched ethnic hijinks that I just don't find remotely funny.
To each their own and all that.

But Russell is made to act too much like a straight man (as in feeding Mawaan lines, I mean!) for my liking.
